It has been about a month since I have launched a pod. I thought I would apologize. I realized that was silly, so I decided to share what exactly happened. Tell you, devoted listeners, what I have been up to, what has distracted me from interviewing local creatives.

I have created a lineup of artists to interview all the way into mid-summer. I am looking forward to it tremendously. Some interesting people are coming up that I share in this podcast. Some are from art history, some are unusual in the fact that they bring artists together. Another publishes interesting small-press works. Another is a sculptor sculpting unique forms North of the Niagara region.

And finally, a multi-disciplinary artist called the Raven, whose assemblages scream city with inscriptions of poetry and street language that vibrate with the vigor his urban sculptures inhabit. Join me as I describe what actually happened last month to knock me off my insanely focused trajectory of bringing you bimonthly interviews with local creatives.

Thank you so much for listening to The Creatively Thinking Podcast! We are so happy you popped by, I will be for sure make sure I give a shout out to you in one of my future episodes. Please remember to like, share, and comment where ever you get your podcasts.

Hey everyone, welcome back to the Creatively Thinking Podcast. Join Carolyn Botello as she uncovers the inspirations behind some incredibly creative minds that are orbiting our local communities. Hey everyone, welcome back to the Creatively Thinking Podcast with Carolyn B. And it has been about a month since I launched a podcast. And I thought about apologizing. But that seems kind of silly. So what happened was that my mom had major surgery and I was incredibly distracted. I thought I could push right through and keep at it, but I couldn't. I thought I could push right through and keep at it, but I couldn't. I couldn't focus on anything for very for very long. I kept going over the what-ifs in my head, thinking of other surgeries, what others had said of people that they had known that had gone through a similar experience and what had happened. Ultimately, I had nothing to worry about. But like every human does, I worried. Everything worked out well. She is home, having therapies, healing well. All the worry can now disappear. Thank goodness. I have been loosely planning the upcoming episodes with 10 plus guests. This has been very exciting. Reaching out to artists and having them respond with positive feedback is very helpful. The weather is warming up on some days, and the snow is mostly disappearing. And I am participating in an honorary exhibition in Toronto at the Artist Run Center Propeller Gallery. This show just finished about a week ago. Intangible Experiences. It was the name of it, if you wanted to uh check it out. It's been some sort of chaotic, crazy times as of late. This is totally fine for me. I enjoy this more when it is less predictable and more creative. So a heads up for those who have subscribed to my channel. Some of the pods to come are Betty Goodwin, Andy Kitmer. Okay, this is going to be tough because it's French, and I'm not sure how to pronounce it, but Rene Bellefuel, Bellefiel, I'm not sure. Telegram Press and Malcolm Gere. The Creatively Thinking with Carolyn B podcast is really coming along. These interviews have depth, clarity, nuance, laughter, and reflections. You won't find anywhere else. Talking to local artists from a multitude of platforms is nearly unheard of. I've been looking and I can't seem to find that many, so it's pretty good. So you know what this means? Let me say that again. So you know what this means? You need to tell your friends, family, and colleagues about this podcast. We are a small outfit and looking to grow and find listeners willing to take the deep dive behind the curtain with creatives to discover stories you knew you needed to hear. Why? Because local art is your community, your neighborhood, your perspective, your niche. Learning about the artists and learning about the artists and creative community that surrounds you helps you connect with the city you live in, fosters conversation, and gets everyone thriving together because discussions on creativity encourage us to deepen our understanding of the inspirations we see in each other and ourselves. Thank you for taking the time to listen to this and your consideration. Time is of the essence these days. So please remember to like, share, comment, and be silly with your imagination. It's the only nation you have inside yourself that you can play with. Am I offending anyone with this? I hope not. I never can tell. Message me if I stepped on anyone's toes. You will hear from me soon.
